Montreal Titans12U Clinches Lead in Fourth Inning to Defeat NDG

The Montreal Titans 12U took the lead late and defeated NDG 7-2 on Sunday and hoist their first trophy of the season. The game was tied at two with the Titans batting in the top of the fourth when Theo L doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. NDG fired up the offense in the first inning, when they scored two runs. The Titans pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Douglas D singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run, Robert D then singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs, and Jacob L doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.  Jacob L was on the mound for the Titans. He allowed three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out nine. The Titans racked up 13 hits. Robert, Theo, Jacob, and Nathan each collected two hits to lead Montreal Titans 12U. Douglas D, Jacob, Theo, and Robert each had at least one RBI for the Titans with Theo leading the team collecting three. The Titans was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Nathan had the most chances in the field with 14.
