After being selected first by the Royaux du Sud-Ouest of the Montreal Jr. League in 1979 , Ian went on to be selected the Provincial League Rookie Most Promising Player. Being part of the 1981 Canada Games team for Quebec in Thunder Bay ( where he threw a no-hitter) that same year. Many Hi-Lites followed including being chosen Senior League 1983 Player of the Year and League MVP with the Senateurs de Longueuil, playing alongside Bill “Spaceman” Lee in a league staffed with former Major Leaguers.


Ian chose to sign a Pro Contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates BB Club. After his playing career ended Ian still had that love for basbeall and continued that in a Coaching capacity ….

After working as an instructor at John Elias’ Grand Slam Baseball Schools, Ian joined the LaSalle Cardinals Jr. Elite staff as Pitching Coach in 1991. They went on to be Provincial Champions. In 1992 Jordan became Manager and Head Coach untill 1999. Winning three more League and Provincial Championships 1993-1994-1995. In 1995 establishing the then  Mtl. Junior Elite Ligue “Best Team Ever ” Incredible record of 40W with just 6 Losses, A 50 year + Montreal Jr. Elite record.

Ian went on to become Ste-Eustache Bisons Manager in 2000 and inherited a St- Eustache team that was 5-43 in 1999. By their 4th year they were Montreal Jr. Elite League Champions !

In 1992, after Graduating from MLSB Scout Development Program in Florida, Ian accepted a Scouting contract with MLB to work for the Scouting Bureau under Canadian Supervisor Tom Valcke.

In 1993, Ian,  Coaching for Baseball Quebec with S. Saindon and A. Agostino , Team Quebec for the 1st time ever Won the Gold Medal at the Canada Games in Kamloops, B.C.

In November 1994,  Ian was selected to appear in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” feature article. Won Silver Medal as Head Coach for Team Quebec at Selects U18 Canadian Championships in Moncton, NB.

In 1995 Lasalle Cardinals Junior Elite Chosen Baseball Quebec Provincial Coach of the Year.

2001 Bisons St Eustache Junior Elite Chosen Baseball Quebec Provincial Coach of the Year ( 3- time Finalists in 4 years).

In 1998 Ian accepted an overseas contract to be Team Manager and Head Coach of Team France for the 1999 European Championships in Italy. After 8 months preparation in Paris and Montpelier Ian led  a vastly improved and talented Team France to its first podium ever !! Winning a Bronze Medal after defeating Team Russia 7-4 in the Bronze medal Game.

In 2000 Ian returned to North America to guest Coach at the World Children’s Baseball Fair in Saskatchewan.

In 2003 Ian was again travelling, this time to Africa ! There  he was appointed Pitching Coach for Team South Africa at the 2003 African Olympics in Abuja, Nigeria. With very talented players and a strong Coaching Staff,  Team South Africa with Jordan’s help went on to win a Gold Medal !at the 2003 African Games !!

In 2005, after a year of planning Ian Jordan opened an Independent Travel Team called ” ” Montreal Titans “. With his development and technical skills helping to Place over 50 athletes in various U.S. Schools and Colleges. Also assisting another dozen players to MLB franchises over the next decade !

Ian’s record speaks for itself and he is always looking for WHO will be the next Athlete he can Help to move up and onward to a College and/or Major League Baseball Career !

Ian also excelled in Volleyball. His other love and passion sport. Playing on Provincial ( Montreal-International and Celtique VB Clubs) Ian went on to play at many National and International competitions, including the Golden Dome Tournaments in Rutgers U. vs UCLA and Penn State University.
