16U Wins best 2 out of 3 at 2018 Michelin Tournament

GAME 1

Six runs in the third inning led Montreal Titans 16U past Leaside Toronto 11-1 on Saturday. The offensive onslaught by  Titans 16U was led by Francis LariviereReymond QuinteroMichael ForestLaurent Masson, and Devonte Mills-Smith, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Stryker Sieb toed the rubber for Montreal Titans 16U. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Leaside  allowed nine hits and 11 runs over four innings, striking out five.

Montreal Titans had nine hits in the game. Forest and Masson each collected multiple hits for theTitans 16UMasson and Forest each collected two hits to lead the Titans 16U to victory.

GAME 2

Montreal Titans 16U defeated Leaside Toronto 14-2 on Saturday thanks in part to Josh Vendittozzi, who drove in four runners. Vendittozzi drove in runs on a triple in the second and a single in the third.

Reymond Quintero got things started in the first inning when  he doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Titans 16U notched six runs in the second inning. VendittozziCedric PaulinQuintero, and Cameron O’Regan each had RBIs in the frame.

Quintero earned the win for Montreal Titans 16U. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out five and walking one. Devonte Mills-Smith threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Titans 16U racked up 11 hits in the game. Stryker SiebPaulinQuintero, and Vendittozzi all managed multiple hits for the Titans 16U.
