I was lucky enough to spend four summers as a member of the Montreal Titans.  During those four years, I played  some of the most competitive baseball of my life and formed friendships that will last me for years to come.  While playing for the Titans, I not only developed as a player, but grew as a person.  Baseball is a mental sport, and while we honed our physical skills, Ian made sure that we understood the game and could play smart baseball.  Over the years, I learned how to become a competitive player through having a good work  ethic as well as learning how to be strong mentally; lessons that I will take with me long after my baseball career has ended.  While it is hard to say that my time with the Titans is over, I leave the team with fond  memories that I will look back on for the rest of my life.

After three years of playing for the Titans 19 and under team, I can honestly say that this is a great program to be a part of for any up and coming ball player.  The level of coaching remains unmatched in my opinion, and without it, I wouldn't be the ball player I am today.  The whole concept of a traveling team is great.  Traveling from tournament to tournament teaches you to cope with pressure and allows you to really grow as a ball player and as a person.  Combine all that with some great teammates and I can proudly say my years spent with the Titans were some of the best of my baseball career.

My three years with the Titans was nothing short of extraordinary and invaluable.  I thought I knew the game of baseball, but I was quickly proven wrong.  Under the tutelage of Ian Jordan, along with Jack Vienneau, Vince White and Kevin Da SIlva, I reached my maximum potential and learned so much about the game of baseball.  In addition to the great coaching, the overall ambiance within the organization was outstanding.  I can honestly say that the Titans experience restored my passion and love for the game.

The years I spent training at Ian Jordan's Baseball Academy were some of the best years of my life.  I look back fondly on those memories, especially the numerous summers and falls I spent playing for the Montreal Titans; there was nowhere else I would rather have played.  Not only did I see vast improvements in my baseball skills, but, more importantly, I began to excel as an independent young man.  The lessons Ian and his coaching staff have instilled in me - both on and off the field - will stay with me for the rest of my life and I am forever grateful.

My time with the Titans was, without a doubt, the turning point in my baseball career.  Being coached by Ian Jordan and his staff helped me improve my game on and off the field.  An aspect that I feel is unique with Titans' baseball is the focus not only on improving your baseball skills, but on creating athletes who are mentally tough as well.  Still today, as I play NCAA College Baseball, I hear the voice of Ian jordan when I am on the baseball diamond.  Through the years and still today, I have not come across a better developmental program and I owe a lot of my success to yhe Titans.  Thank you.

We have been blessed to have had our sons Anthony and Michael Carbone under the tutelage of Ian Jordan's baseball program since the age of 10.  Ian's program gives aspiring baseball players the opportunity to develop their baseball skills as well as providing parents the option to place their children in an academic school environment of choice.  Ian's program has helped develop our two boys into strong, mature young men with a strong academic background and as a bonus has also opened up many opportunities for them to pursue their baseball and school career south of the border.  We have also had the opportunity to make many great friends during the many traveling weekends over the years in which we participated.  A big thank you to Ian for the passion and dedication he continues to display on the baseball diamond and we are convinced that he is the greatest baseball mind in the province of Quebec with a strong desire to obtain the best from the players he develops.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the Montreal Titans organization for an unforgettable summer. We were blessed to be surrounded by great kids with great parents and a coach who's care for our sons couldn't be more obvious. I can't speak for the rest of the parents but to me, Nick Romeo was the perfect coach for kid like Nathan. Nick's firm hand and gentle soul was just what a young and inexperienced player like Nate needed to thrive on a team of this calibre, and to watch him improve under Nick's guidance leaves me speechless. The boy who showed up at tryouts this spring is not the same one who earned a Player Of The Game award this weekend. That one's for you, coach! Whatever Nick may have lacked in experience he more than made up for through his passion for the game and his unquestionable dedication to the boys. Meo, there are two things in sports that can't be taught: Height and experience. While you may never be 6'-2" you're well on your way to becoming a great leader of men both on and off the field. You're a classy, caring young man and I thank you. Please pass on our thanks to Mario and the rest of the Titans coaches & volunteers for their time and support.
